The FHCA committee consists of six members elected by the Association's membership. The committee meetings are held bi-monthly.
Executive positions are filled at the first committee meeting following the Annual General Meeting by way of election by the committee.

Malcolm Walker
Podiatrist
B.App.Sc.(Pod)., M.A.Pod.A (Vic)
Mal has been practicing Podiatry in East Gippsland for 18 years and is a Member of the Australian Podiatry Association (Vic). He has practiced at Gippsland Base Hospital, Heyfield Hospital, Maffra Hospital and Orbost Hospital.
As well as practicing in the private sector, he also has a wealth of experience in the public funded areas, and has worked Lakes Entrance Community Health Centre , Central Wellington Health Services in Sale and Bairnsdale Regional Health Services.
Mary Harty
Social Worker
B.A., B.SW
Mary has worked as a social worker in public health since 1989 having worked at The Royal Women’s Hospital Melbourne, St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, Bairnsdale Regional Health Service, The Alfred Hospital Melbourne and currently Austin Health Emergency Department Melbourne where this position includes being a part of the Aged Care Co ordination Team. Mary has been at the Austin since May 2000 .
Bruce Hurley
CEO Lakes Entrance Community Health
During the last twenty years Bruce has been the executive Officer for Community Health Victoria, a division of Victorian Healthcare Association as well as being the CEO of three Melbourne Community Health Centres during this time. Bruce is currently the CEO for Lakes Entrance Community Health. While at VHA (1992-1994) Bruce was involved in discussions with the Podiatry Association and CHCs about establishing foot care assistants. At this time DHS funded a project to explore possibilities. Though some progress was made, a course was never established.
Janice Preston
B. App. Nursing (Post Registration), Grad. Dip. Health Science (Gerontic), Grad. Dip. Psychiatric Nursing.
Janice is presently Manager of Aged Care (Residential) for Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (BRHS). Currently managing Maddocks Gardens, 90 bed facility incorporating BRHS Nursing Home (17high care beds), Sutherland Lodge (32 bed dementia specific hostel), Jacaranda House (41 bed hostel). Also manages 4 residential independent Living Units
